We have established a code of conduct and various regulations regarding the protection of personal information and comply with various laws such as the Personal Information Protection Law.
Action Guidelines for Personal Information Protection
We will conduct educational and awareness-raising activities for our employees, establish a personal information protection system and strive to properly manage personal information under the supervision of a personal information protection manager.
With respect to personal information stored in computers, we will take reasonable technical measures to prevent unauthorized access to personal information and the loss, falsification and/or leakage of personal information.
We will use personal information provided by customers only for the purpose of fulfilling our contractual responsibilities to customers, developing better products and services, delivering useful information to customers and for other legitimate purposes.
Whenever we ask our customers to provide us with their personal information, we will, in principle, inform them of the purpose of collection, the scope of third parties to whom we provide their personal information and our point of contact for customer service.
When we provide personal information provided by customers to a third party, we will prevent leakage or re-provision of such information by the third party based on a formal contract unless there are special circumstances.
If a customer requests confirmation and/or correction of personal information provided by the customer, we will respond to the request within a reasonable scope. Please contact the help desk which was informed you in advance.
In addition to complying with Japanese laws and regulations regarding the protection of customers’ personal information, we will continuously review and improve our compliance program including this action guideline.
